• Interests: Film, art, music, literature and other assorted examples of the creative impulse.
• Activities: Spending time with family, friends and the occasional rock band. If I could find that mythical happy place that combines the way I feel in my favorite chair and the way I feel contemplating long-term hearing loss in a smokey bar, I'd be a happy man.

• Food: Ravioli, olives, pistachios, cranberry juice, fat burgers, thin fries, barbecue and pie. Anything, really, that makes a cardiologist cringe.
• Music: Old soul, new rock, traditional country, non-traditional chamber music..., You get the idea. The hits keep coming.

I was born in Los Angeles, Calif. but have never lived anywhere long enough to call it a home town. I have, in chronological order, been considered a resident of Los Angeles, Portland, Houston, Augusta, England, Sacramento, and Washinton State. I'm a graduate of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and Western Washington University (B.A. - Journalism) and have covered arts and entertainment at the Augusta Chronicle since 1999.
