All about Alaska
A group from West Acres Baptist Church in Evans enjoyed a 12-day Alaska trip. They traveled on the McKinley Explorer train from Anchorage to Fairbanks. They toured Denali National Park and saw Mt. McKinley, where this group photo was taken. After five days of touring, the group boarded a cruise ship for seven days along the Alaskan coast.

DUIs
Christopher Richard Sherman, 28, of the 1200 block of West Martintown Road in North Augusta, was charged with driving under the influence on April 1, 2011, and was fined $810.
