An Evans High School junior was killed Monday when her SUV crashed into the rear of an AT&T utility truck.

Adult animals cost $25 to adopt, and puppies and kittens cost $20. Animals must be spayed or neutered. Several stars from county diamonds start action in Division I baseball Friday
I have recently written about local players suiting up for the Augusta State University and USC Aiken baseball teams this season. During the next few weeks, I will try to provide updates on every Columbia County player who will be on a college diamond this season.
The Grovetown junior varsity girls capped a 14-1 season by winning their second consecutive Columbia County JV Tournament championship. Grovetown defeated Evans 28-25 in the final.
