Nature walk
Reed Creek Park in Martinez will hold a nature walk for 3- to 5-year-olds accompanied by adults from 10-11 a.m. today. The walk is free for members, $2 for non-members. Nutrition seminar
The Marshall Family Y will hold a nutrition seminar, "Weight Loss: Strategies for Success," at 7 p.m. Thursday. The seminar is free to members, $10 to non-members. Registration is available at the Family Y or at www.thefamilyy.org.

Woodturners

Ice Bowl
The annual Disc Golf Ice Bowl, to benefit Golden Harvest Food Bank, will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Patriots Park. Entry fee is $20 and a donation of non-perishable canned goods. A chili cookoff lunch and silent auction will be held afterward. For information, call Jimmy Padgett at (706) 860-9511.
Dining fundraiser
Applebee's in Evans will donate 10 percent of all proceeds from receipts from diners all day Saturday to help raise money for medical expenses for Courtney Waters, a student at Columbia Middle School.
Fundraiser
A concert to benefit the Interfaith Hospitality Network will be held 7-10 p.m. Sunday at Journey Community Church on Hardy McManus Road. Admission is office supplies, clothing, personal hygiene products or any other items that could benefit the homeless assistance network. For information, call (706) 726-7024.
