Lakeside High School baseball will hold a silent auction Friday and Saturday in the school's commons area. The auction will be open from 5:30-10 p.m. Friday and 2-5:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, contact coach T.J. Davis at (706) 863-0027 or thomas.davis@ccboe.net.

Lakeside High School's swim/dive team is selling the inaugural LHS Christmas ornament for $10 each. To buy one, contact the Lakeside High School Splash Club at panthersplash@gmail.com.

Camps

The Greenbrier Baseball Clinic will be held Dec. 20-21 at the school's baseball field and indoor hitting facility. The camp for second- to eighth-grade boys will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. The cost is $75 ($25 for each additional sibling) and includes a camp T-shirt and an autograph session with instructors. Team rates are available. Instruction includes agility training, proper throwing technique, fielding fundamentals, defensive positions, hitting mechanics and base running. The 2010 Grovetown High School Baseball Christmas Camp will be held Dec. 20-21 at the school's baseball field. The camp for children in kindergarten through eighth grade costs $30 and will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
