During their trip to Dearborn, Mich., Larry and Wanda Williams, of Martinez, visited the Henry Ford Museum; a primitive village built by Ford called Greenwich Village; and toured the Ford Rogue Factory, where Ford F-150 pickups are assembled. After Perdue comes the fall
Whomever wins this year's gubernatorial election -- and it's entirely possible we won't know until after a post-Thanksgiving runoff -- that man will have the current inhabitant of the Governor's Mansion to thank for one piece of bad news.

Lessons we should have learned
This has been one of the dreariest election years ever. Unhappy voters were made even grumpier by a flood of negative ads. Even in the muck and mire of this campaign cycle, there have been some developments that are worthy of a compliment.

Perception of clinic will hurt neighbors
Let's be clear from the start: Most opposition to methadone clinics is pure hysteria. The recovering addicts who use such services typically bother no one, and in fact try very hard to slip in and out unnoticed.

Week 10 of the Pigskin Picks contest brought in 77 entries, with one contestant picking nine correctly, 13 contestants picking eight correctly and 16 contestants picking seven correctly. Forty-seven contestants failed to qualify, picking six or fewer games correctly, including two late mailed entries.
