Lakeside will hold its JROTC Fun Run on Saturday. Check-in/registration will start at 8 a.m., and the race will start at 9. The Peach Belt Conference and Family Y will conduct the inaugural Peach Belt Conference Fall Festival 5K and 1K Fun Run at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blanchard Woods Park. The event is open to the public and all proceeds will benefit at-risk middle school sports programs in Columbia County. The 1K Fun Run is designed for children to be able to take part. The Evans High School baseball team will hold its annual golf tournament Nov. 14 at Gordon Lakes Golf Club. The event will start at 11 a.m. with lunch, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $60 per player or $240 per four-man team. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 per hole. The MCG Miracle Second Annual Golf Tournament: Fore The Kids will be held Nov. 13 at Forest Hills Golf Club. It will benefit the MCG Children's Miracle Network.
