Baker is 'best and most qualified candidate' for school board District 2

The folks in District 2 have an excellent opportunity to elect someone who is energetic, intelligent and very knowledgeable of the operations of the school board. Kristi Baker has been involved with the school system for 12 years. She has served on the superintendent's advisory board, served on committees to hire principals and vice principals, and held offices in the PTO program.

Baker has a vision for the education system in Columbia County to include long-range planning for growth, better communications between teachers and parents, and discipline in the classrooms. Baker's No. 1 goal is for every child to have a quality education.

Because I don't live in District 2, I can't vote for Baker. However, you folks know me and know that I would not be writing this letter if I didn't believe Baker is the best and most qualified candidate.

Please vote for Baker for District 2 Board of Education.
