Harlem city council has rescheduled its October meeting to Monday, starting with a work session at 6:30 p.m.
Spaghetti dinner
The Columbia County Humane Society's Noodles for Neutering spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Marvin United Methodist Church, Belair Road at Wheeler Road. Park walk

Georgia Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle will be the guest speaker at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Columbia County Republican Party Breakfast at Fatz Cafe. Breakfast costs $6.
Fair pageant

Evans Middle School PTSO and Chick-fil-A at Mullins Crossing will hold a celebrity charity basketball tournament from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the school gym. Tickets cost $6, with a $1 discount for canned good donations to the It's Spooky to be Hungry food drive.
Fundraiser
The Greenbrier High girls basketball team will hold an Octoberfest fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday with a car and bike show, chili cook-off, silent auction, basketball camp for third- through fifth-graders and concessions.
