Carnivals planned
- Plans for the biggest and best Halloween carnival ever are under way for this year's event, to be held Oct. 20, 1965, at the Appling Elementary School.
The support of the Appling Jaycees and Jaycettes to the PTA group assures more of everything.
- Charles Reeves will act as emcee for the talent show, which will be the feature of the Halloween Carnival at the Harlem School on Oct. 30.
During the intermission a costume contest will be held, with children in first through sixth grades taking part.
