Rensselaer Dean's List
Brian Maleck of Martinez, whose major is civil engineering, has been named to the Dean' List for the spring 2010 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Virginia Tech Commandant's List
Robert Edwards of Evans, was named to the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Commandant's List for spring 2010. Edwards is a senior majoring in French in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences.
Excelsior College graduates
Savannah Cannon Praymou of Evans, has earned a master of business administration; Gloria J. Hamilton of Evans, has earned a bachelor of science; Tonia Lynn Manley of Grovetown, has earned an associate in science in nursing.
West Point opportunity
Richard H. Mersereau of Evans, a junior at Greenbrier High School, was selected to be among 1,100 attendees at West Point's Summer Leaders Seminar. The one-week seminar offers outstanding high school juniors the opportunity of experience life at West Point, NY.
Lee University Dean's List
Sarah Delotelle , of Fishers, Ind., was named to the Dean's List at Lee University for the spring 2010 semester. Sarah is the granddaughter of Wen and Bev Ussery of Martinez.
Scholarship recipient
Cameron Guthrie of Evans, is a recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded at Fort Gordon. Cameron is enrolled, or plans to enroll at Georgia Tech. Cameron's activities include varsity soccer, varsity track and field, chorus, math club and National Honor Society. Cameron's parents are Rae Lynne and Mike Guthrie.
Columbia College graduate
Catherine Middleton Holmes of Evans, received a master of education in divergent learning at commencement ceremonies held August 8 at Columbia College.
UGA Scholar
Kelly Erin Bain of Evans, has been named a Presidential Scholar in recognition of earning a 4.0 grade point average for the summer semester 2010 at the University of Georgia. Kelly is in the top 2 percent of students enrolled in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
Trinity University graduate
Christina Kious of Evans, has graduated from Trinity University with a bachelor of science, cum laude at their May 15 commencement exercises.
ABAC President's List
Cory Hillman of Grovetown, has been named to the President's List at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a 4.0 grade point average for the summer 2010 semester.
GSU graduate
Diandre R. Ussery of Martinez, graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University on May 20, with a bachelor of science in public relations. She was also a member of the 2010 President's List. She is the daughter of Floyd and Venessa Ussery of Martinez.

Christopher Brannen of Appling, has recently become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the University of Georgia.
Matthew Patrick Wehman of Martinez, has recently become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at Clemson University.
