Greek festival

String quartet

The Magellan String Quartet will perform at 3 p.m. today at Augusta Christian Schools Auditorium, 470 Furys Ferry Road, Martinez. General admission is $10; free to students, music educators and military.

Teen Years 101

Superior Court Judge Wade Padgett will present the Teenage Years 101 seminars at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 for adults, and at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 for teens, at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on William Few Parkway. Animal Week

Monday-Friday is "Animal Friends Week" in Columbia County. Columbia County Animals Services, 6337 Columbia Road, Appling, will hold adoptions with dogs and puppies available for $10, and cats and kittens for $5, with a free engraved ID tag. Alzheimer's lunch

Dr. Suzanne Smith, the director of the MCG Memory Disorder Clinic, will present a free lunch program, "Alzheimer's and Dementias: A Neurologist Perspective," at noon Tuesday at the MCG Alumni Center, 919 15th St. Reservations are due by noon Monday by calling (706) 731-9060.
