Grovetown band members give 'renewed hope' with 9-11 performance

The Grovetown 9-11 remembrance ceremony was very special, considering that the Grovetown High School band director, Brian Toney, was given a last-minute request on the previous Friday for some of his students to participate in the ceremony the next morning.

He graciously accepted the challenge and conjured up two of his students, Dixie Trimn and J.P. Beasley. Their patriotic music was so overwhelming that even passersby stopped across the street to pledge their allegiance.

This awesome experience gives us a renewed hope that with God's blessings we will bravely stand against those who savagely seek to destroy us.
