The Grovetown Lions Club will hold our Annual Turkey Shoot fundraising event starting the first weekend of October. This has been one of our major fundraisers for more than 30 years and it usually runs for three months, ending a weekend or two before Christmas.
We would like to thank all the people for their support over the years and we hope to see you again this fall. Signup usually starts around 6 or 6:30 p.m. and slots go fast. As long as we have the meat and the customers we will continue to shoot until 11:30 p.m. We have a concession stand and bathroom facilities. We do ask that participants do not consume alcoholic beverages during the shoot. ...
All funds collected from the turkey shoot, and other events we hold, are donated to various charitable organizations that we support.
The Grovetown Lions Club is a non-profit organization that proudly supports the following: Georgia Light House Foundation, Leader Dog Program, Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, local eyeglass programs, Lions International Foundation, Children's Eye Center at Emory University, Recording for the Blind, and Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Funds collected go to serve others in need and to improving sight and hearing.
