GOP candidate challenges board
Republican candidate John Shead filed an injunction on Monday to stop the Columbia County Board of Elections from putting the names of candidates on the ballot who filed after the Aug. 18 deadline.
McNorrill to head Harlem bank
Henry B. McNorrill, vice president of Georgia State Bank of Martinez, will now also serve as branch manager of the Harlem office.
McNorrill has an outstanding record as a banker and as a citizen of Harlem.
McNorrill has been vice president and cashier of Georgia State Bank since January 1975.
