Soccer tournament

A 3v3 soccer tournament will be held Wednesday at Patriots Park with proceeds benefiting Nothing But Nets, an organization dedicated to the eradication of malaria. Teams can have up to five members. Registration is $15 per team. Contact Hilary Matfess at hilary.matfess@gmail.com.

Tryouts

Greenbrier High School will hold volleyball tryouts Monday-Wednesday. Eighth-grade girls can try out if zoned for Greenbrier High. Tryouts will be held 3-5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday. All girls must have a physical and proof of insurance. Evans High School will hold softball tryouts 9-11 a.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. All girls must have a current physical and completed insurance form and proof of insurance. For information, contact coach Colette Cassedy at (706) 868-1977 or ccassedy@ccboe.net.
