Chairman Cross 'takes high road' in re-election bid

Ron Cross has been a long-time friend and a man in whom I have absolute respect, both personally and professionally. He is hands-down the best qualified candidate for chairman of the county commission and the only candidate with the experience to keep Columbia County prospering.

I hope the citizens of Columbia County appreciate him taking the "high road" during his campaign by staying focused on the issues, instead of stooping to distorted, self-serving rhetoric.

From my experience as a taxpayer and supporter, I know first hand how much hard work and the number of hours a week he puts into the "part-time" position known as the chairman of the Columbia County Commission. He is truly dedicated to this county and the citizens he serves.

Ron Cross is without a doubt one of our most active citizens, and has worked to promote and improve Columbia County in every way possible.

In a true indication of his dedication to our county and the reputation our county enjoys throughout the state, he was recently elected by his peers in the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia as one of 13 board of managers for this statewide organization of commission chairs.

Tuesday is election day. Please exercise your right to vote and let's re-elect Ron Cross.
