Gordon Park Speedway results

Threats of rain held off Saturday night for a full slate of racing at Grovetown's Gordon Park Speedway.

The Crate Late Model winner was Brian Connor, who held off Chris Usry and Wendell Chavous to take the win, and Chris Shaw landed his first win of the season in Super Street.

Nick Kennedy won a bumping, grinding race over John Kessinger and Dennis Crowe in the Stock V8 division, and Preston Padgett won in Super Stock 4.

Billy Grassmeyer took his second win in a row in the Road Warrior class, while Clay Collins won his seventh Extreme 4 race of the year.

In the Powder Puff race, Crystal Corey spun out on the last lap, allowing Ranata Newsome to finish first ahead of Carolyn Beard.

Motocross racing is scheduled for this weekend at Gordon Park.
