Martinez Domino's Pizza robbed at gunpoint
A Martinez Domino's Pizza restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Monday.
The manager of the restaurant at 337 S. Belair Road told police that he and two employees were preparing to take out the trash about 12:30 a.m. when three men with handguns entered through the unlocked back door, yelled, "Where's the money?" and knocked the manager to the floor.
The employees said the robbers demanded that they lie on the floor and took cash from an employee's hand. The men took the money from a cash box and the safe, then ran out the back doors.
Grovetown woman reports getting 2 harassing calls
A Grovetown woman told police Monday that she received several creepy and harassing calls.
Between 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. she received calls from two numbers -- one of them a South Carolina number. The caller stated, "I'm watching you," "I know where you live," and "I see what you are doing."
The caller's voice was disguised to sound like a robot, the woman said.
Police were not able to reach anyone at the South Carolina number.
Window is shattered on residence in Martinez
A Martinez man told police Monday that someone had shattered the front window of his home.
He said that at 10:20 p.m. he heard a noise outside. When he went out, he found the front window of his Feather Court home shattered.
A neighbor told police that he was inside his home when he heard three loud bangs. He looked outside and saw a vehicle, possibly a truck, quickly leave from in front of other resident's home.
4 vehicles are splattered with paint in Deercrest
Three Deercrest subdivision residents told police Wednesday morning that someone had splattered their vehicles with red paint during the night.
The Deercrest Lane and Deercrest Circle residents told police that four vehicles were splattered with paint. The vehicles were all on the street in front of their homes between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
