The YMCA Summer Golf Camps will take place Monday-Thursday and July 19-22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for juniors ages 6-17. Included will be instruction on all phases of the game and nine holes of golf. Augusta Prep's volleyball camps will take place Monday-Friday and July 19-20. There are two sessions per camp: grades fifth through eighth from 9 a.m. until noon and grades ninth through 12th from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $60 for the two-day camp and $130 for the five-day camp. The second annual Augusta Prep Football Camp will take place June 28 through July 1 from 9 a.m. until noon daily. "Cavalier Camp" will serve those in grades first through fifth, while "Cavalier Pride Camp" will serve those in grades sixth through 12th. Coaches from Augusta Prep, Atlanta and Florida will serve as instructors in fundamentals of football and strength and conditioning. The 19th Annual Evans High School Basketball Camp will take place June 28 through July 2 for ages 6-14. The camps will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. The Lady Dogs Softball Clinic will be July 5-9 at Harlem High School. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. daily. The cost is $80, or $70 for children of Columbia County employees.
