Chairmanship challenger needs to answer questions about taxes
Brett McGuire is a candidate for chairman of the Columbia County Commission. His campaign signs prominently call for "tax cuts now." In order to evaluate his single platform issue I, and I'm sure others, need answers to four questions.

Lakeside junior to show skills at Perfect Game Showcase
The 2010 Evans Classic baseball tournament was held Thursday-Saturday at six high schools: Evans, Lakeside, Greenbrier, Harlem, Grovetown and Westside. The tournament featured 32 squads from 19 schools, with several schools fielding multiple teams. In addition to schools from around the Augusta area, reigning Class AAAA state champion Marist (Atlanta) and Walnut Grove (Loganville) played in the event.
