Early and absentee voting in the July 20 primary is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through July 9 at the Columbia County Board of Elections office, Building E, 500 Faircloth Drive, Evans. Advance voting will be July 12-16.

Outdoor movies

MCGHealth Children's Medical Center's fifth season of Movies Under the Stars continues Friday with Tooth Fairy at the Columbia County Amphitheater in Evans. Gates open at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $2 for adults and $1 for children 13 and younger. Lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and coolers are welcome, and concessions are available. Public Service Commission candidates Joey Brush and Tim Echols and Columbia County Commission chairman candidate Brett McGuire will be speaking at the meeting of the Greater Columbia County Republican Women at 6 p.m. Monday at Jones Creek Clubhouse.
