Democrats meet

Columbia County Democrats will meet Monday. A reception starts at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Evans Government Center, 630 Ronald Reagan Drive. For information, call (706) 513-3400. Members are reminded to bring donations for Columbia County Cares.

Choral concert

The Columbia County Choral Society will present From Sea to Shining Sea: A Concert of Patriotic and Inspirational Music at 7:30 p.m. June 18 at First Baptist Church of Evans. Youth program

A volunteer/community service program for rising ninth- through 12th-grade students will be available this summer at the Helping Hands Thrift Store, 6347 Columbia Road, operated by the Columbia County Foundation for Children, through July 29 for three days per week.
