Oratory contest

Gibbs to perform

Scholarships
June 1 is the deadline to submit applications for the Columbia County Foundation for Children college scholarships. Applicants must be residents of Columbia County and planning to attend college or technical school. Scholarships are need-based, and students are eligible to apply up to age 23. Voter drive
The Columbia County Board of Elections will hold a voter registration drive 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kmart on Washington Road in Martinez.
Spaghetti dinner
Grovetown Masonic Lodge 730 will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for children's projects 2-7 p.m. Saturday at the lodge at 211 Newmantown Road. Meals cost $6, with children 8 and younger free.
