Junior Achievement fifth annual charity golf tournament will be held May 20 at Houndslake Country Club in Aiken. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Team and other sponsorships still available. The Augusta Elks Lodge will hold its annual golf tournament May 27 at the Augusta Municipal Golf Course. Cost is $50 per golfer. Corporate and individual participants are welcome. Sign up time will be at 11:30 a.m. followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be provided, also dinner following the tournament for the golfers. Baseball
The Georgia RiverDawgs 10-Under travel ball team is raffling a 4-passenger Club Car gas golf cart with canopy top and windshield. Tickets are $5. The drawing will be held in June. Tickets can be purchased by calling (706) 945-4621.
Y registration

The adult travel flag football team Showtime is looking for former high school and college football players to fill its roster. Indoor Soccer (Futsal) 5v5 Tournament at Patriots Park Gym will be held May 22. Age groups will range from U8 to U14 boys and girls, and a men's and women's teams. Cost is $150 per team. Summer camps
Greenbrier Fast Pitch Softball Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. June 1-4 at Greenbrier High School for girls in grades second through eighth. Augusta Prep's annual summer volleyball camps will be held June 7-8, June 21-25 and July 19-20. There are two sessions per camp: grades fifth through eighth from 9 a.m. until noon and grades ninth through 12th from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $60 for the two-day camps and $130 for the five-day camp. Sure Shot Basketball Camps will be held for boys entering grades sixth through ninth at Lakeside Middle School on June 7-11 or Stallings Island Middle School on June 14-18. A second set of camps for boys entering grades second through fifth will be held 9 a.m. to noon June 7-11, June 14-18 and June 26-30 at Lakeside Middle. Those camps cost $75. Former Augusta Prep basketball star Laura Kopald recently completed her second season with the Guilford College basketball team. Kopald, a 5-foot-10 guard, appeared in four games for the Quakers and recorded one rebound. She has 20 points and 12 rebounds in 11 career games.
