Junior Achievement fifth annual charity golf tournament will be held May 20 at Houndslake Country Club in Aiken. The Augusta Elks Lodge will hold its annual golf tournament May 27 at the Augusta Municipal Golf Course. Cost is $50 per golfer. Corporate and individual participants are welcome. Baseball
The Georgia RiverDawgs 10-Under travel ball team is raffling a 4-passenger Club Car gas golf cart with canopy top and windshield. Tickets are $5. The drawing will be held in June. Tickets can be purchased by calling (706) 945-4621.
Y registration

Indoor Soccer (Futsal) 5v5 Tournament at Patriots Park Gym will be held May 22. Age groups will range from U8 to U14 boys and girls, and a men's and women's teams. Cost is $150 per team. Greenbrier Fast Pitch Softball Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. June 1-4 at Greenbrier High School for girls in grades second through eighth. Augusta Prep's annual summer volleyball camps will be held June 7-8, June 21-25 and July 19-20. There are two sessions per camp: grades fifth through eighth from 9 a.m. until noon and grades ninth through 12th from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $60 for the two-day camps and $130 for the five-day camp. Former Augusta Prep basketball star Laura Kopald recently completed her second season with the Guilford College basketball team. Kopald, a 5-foot-10 guard, appeared in four games for the Quakers and recorded one rebound. She has 20 points and 12 rebounds in 11 career games.
