"It's just a way that people can come and hear these fantastic speakers without having to drive to Atlanta," said Joy Quinn, who is coordinating the program in the county.
The one-day leadership event will feature the following speakers: author Jim Collins; retired Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy; author John C. Maxwell; photographer and former National Geographic staff member Steve Uzzell; author and professor Chip Heath; human behavior and leadership development expert Connie Podesta; SAS Institute Inc. CEO Jim Goodnight; Delta Air Lines President Ed Bastian; neurosurgeon and professor Ben Carson; and author Mark Sanborn.
The simulcast is emceed by blogger and comedian Tripp Crosby as well as former CNN anchor Sachi Koto.
The cost to attend the event in Evans is $49, which includes a Chick-fil-A lunch. Free gifts and prizes will be given to some audience members.
Those viewing the simulcast can also e-mail questions directly to speakers during the event.
Only a few tickets remain and must be purchased by Thursday.
The event is designed to develop leaders at all levels and positions, including at work, home and in the community, Quinn said.
The motto for this year's simulcast is "Be the One."
"The focus this year is to be the one leader to make a lasting impact in the lives of those who lead," Quinn said. "It encourages people to lead by example."
