Nearly all modes of motorized transportation will be on display Saturday at Wildwood Park.
The second annual CSRA RV and Boat Show will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the park on Holloway Road. The event coincides with the Tom Selinske U.S. Masters Championship disc golf tournament.
The event will feature displayed merchandise from area dealerships, including Hayes Marine, Academy Sports, West Marine, Travel Country RV Center, Augusta Marine, Augusta Harley-Davidson, Street and Trail Motorsports, Tomberlin Outdoors and CSRA Camperland, said Jeb Bell, Wildwood Park program coordinator.
Also, representatives of nonprofit organizations such as the U.S. Corps of Engineers and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be on hand. Guests are invited to bring their boats as the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will be conducting hull inspections.
The event also will include inflatables and other activities for children and refreshments, Bell said.
This year's show also includes a car and bike show benefitting the Southeastern Firefighters' Burn Foundation.
"I thought we'd just try something different this year," Bell said.
Anyone is welcome to enter their ride in the motorcycle or car categories. A $350 cash prize will be awarded for first place and $125 for second place in addition to trophies for Best in Show and the top three in each category.
Park admission is $5. The registration fee to enter the car and bike show is $10, which benefits the burn foundation.
