Ben and Cathy Barber rest at the Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. During spring break, Ben, Cathy and Lauren Swearingen hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, stayed one night at Phantom Ranch, and hiked back up to the South Rim for a total trip of 20 miles.
