Polio shots urged

The Columbia County Chapter of the National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis has a large and expensive group of old cases who suffered their original affliction five years or more ago before the Salk vaccine was available, said Eunice R. Moore, public health nurse.

Vaccine is free for all children who have not reached their sixth birthday, and is 50 cents for others at the Columbia County Health Department.
