Sister is correct; county has neglected area around Old Evans Road
In reference to her recent letter regarding the lack of sidewalks and upkeep of the roads in the Old Evans Road area of Martinez, I must agree with my sister, Lisa Childs. I have lived in this area for more than 35 years and I am still waiting for the sidewalks.

Garden show helps protect historic sites

Grovetown's Mike Sereno competed in the Region 3-AAAA high school tennis tournament at Petersburg Racquet Club on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lakeside's boys won the region title, followed by Evans, Richmond Academy and Westside. Evans won the girls title ahead of Lakeside, Richmond Academy and Westside.
