Guests don't have to be an expert on the golf course to participate in a variety of golf-related activities at a Masters party this week in Columbia County.

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will hold its third annual Party at the Pavilion Thursday at Savannah Rapids Pavilion, 3300 Evans-to-Locks Road, Martinez.
Inside the pavilion's ballroom, a section will be set up for guests to practice their golf swing on three raised putting greens and a Nintendo Wii golf game, said Tammy Shepherd, the chamber's interim president.
This year, organizers also will add a disc golf stand, loaned by the International Disc Golf Center at Wildwood Park.
"The one new thing tying in with the golf theme is we're getting a disc golf basket, where people can try their hand at disc golf," Shepherd said.
Footage from previous Masters tournaments also will be shown on a big-screen TV.
DJ Joe Tutt, with the CSRA Shag Club, will provide dancers with a variety of music. Dinner will be catered by Cleve Edmunds' Bar-B-Que with a cash bar available.
Shepherd said the evening will give people an opportunity to network and socialize.
The party will take place from 6-10 p.m. Tours to the Savannah Rapids Visitors Center will be held until dusk and last about 15 minutes each.
"They can learn about the history of the Augusta Canal and the historical buildings," Shepherd said.
The party, co-sponsored by the county's Development Authority and Convention and Visitors Bureau, is designed for adult residents, chamber members and out-of-town guests, Shepherd said.
"It is for anybody who is in town that week," she said.
Tickets cost $25 in advance and can be purchased by Wednesday. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $35.
