Heartsong Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Martinez that rescues from 10 counties. Animals are spayed or neutered and current on their vaccinations. Dogs are microchipped. Cats are litter-box trained before placement. Heartsong will hold a rabies vaccination clinic, with shots for $5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 20 at PetCo in Mullins Crossing.
