Generous donors again made 'Kibble for Kritters' successful
Thanks to everyone who donated to our "Kibble for Kritters" program at our Best Western Evans Hotel and our Baymont Inn and Suites/Augusta Riverwatch this holiday season. Donations collected at the Best Western benefit CSRA Happy Tails Rescue, and donations collected at our Baymont benefit the CSRA Humane Society.

Christopher Calvin Stephens, 22, of the 100 block of Silver Arrow Circle in Austell, Ga., was charged with driving under the influence on Oct. 8, 2009, and was sentenced to 12 months probation and was fined $810.

The Columbia County recreation department will hold spring soccer registration through Jan. 22. Registration can be done at Patriots Park administrative offices or by mail.
