Meeting changed

The Harlem City Council meetings scheduled for Jan. 18 have been rescheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Alzheimer's lunch

The Augusta Alzheimer's Association will hold a free lunch program, Alzheimer's and Advocacy: Public Policy and its Impact, from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the MCG Alumni Center at 919 15th Street. Reservations are due by noon Monday by calling (706) 731-9060.

Wine tasting

A wine tasting and silent auction to benefit the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at The Snug Steak and Grill, 240 Davis Road, Martinez. Cost is $10. Call Dawn Gantt at (706) 650-2878.

Dessert reception

The Augusta Jewish Federation's 2010 campaign will hold a dessert reception featuring Sidney Friedman at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Augusta Jewish Community Center, 898 Weinberger Way in Evans. Cost is $10. Reservations are due by Monday by calling (706) 228-3636, or e-mailing augustafed2@knology.net.

Charity run
