Ballerina Julia Foley Morgan will perform an original ballet solo, Breath of Heaven , as part of the worship service at 10:30 a.m. today at Church of the Holy Comforter, 473 Furys Ferry Road, Martinez. The church also will hold Christmas Eve services at 5:30 and 11 p.m.
Christmas movie
The Church at Greenbrier will hold "Christmas on the Lawn" starting at 4:45 p.m. today at the Columbia County Amphitheater, featuring children's crafts, Christmas music, games and food, followed by the 5:45 p.m. showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas . Creative Impressions will present its annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Augusta State University Maxwell Performing Arts Theater. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $10 for students and are available at the theater box office. For information, call (706) 951-4239.
Candlelight service in Evans

Augusta Christian Singles sponsors dances from 7-11 p.m. Saturdays at the Ballroom Dance Center, 525 Grand Slam Drive, Evans, off Evans-to-Locks Road. Tree recycling
