'Official' designation symbolizes SOA's commitment to county
As a longstanding resident of Columbia County and a former board member of Symphony Orchestra Augusta (SOA), I am writing in response to the Nov. 15 story ("Orchestra proposal strikes sour note with local group").

Most people likely thought Martinez theaters were county's first
Great story on the Columbia Theatre (Nov. 8). I think for so long, most folks thought of Columbia 1 and 2 (in Martinez) as the county's first theaters. I know I sure did!
