United Way survey

Parade entries
Nov. 20 is the deadline for entries in the 45th Annual Martinez-Evans Christmas Parade, to be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 6. Go to www.columbiacountyfair.net.

Alzheimer's talk
The Augusta Alzheimer's Association's "Docs and Dessert" will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Elmcroft Assisted Living on The Pass at Furys Ferry Road, featuring Dr. Suzanne Smith, director of the MCG Memory Disorder Clinic. The event is free. Reservations are due today by calling (706) 731-9060.
