Army Sgt. Jimmy Chong has arrived for duty at the Auburn Recruiting Station in Alabama. He was previously assigned to Headquarters Company, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy. He has been in the Army seven years. He is the son of Elton M. and Suk C. Chrisp of Harlem and a 1999 graduate of Harlem High School.

Training graduates

Army Pvt. William L. Reimsnider has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Marianne Creel, of Martinez, and a 2009 graduate of Augusta Technical School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Dezmone Musgrove has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Ga. Musgrove is a 2007 graduate of Evans High School.

Navy Seaman John M. Hobbs , son of Elaine E. Hobbs, of Evans, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Hobbs is a 2006 graduate of Evans High School.

Army Reserve Pfc. Joshua Jones has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of David and Helen Jones, of Martinez.

Army National Guard Pfc. Matthew W. Morrison has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Morrison is the son of Bonita Standridge, of Harlem, and a 2008 graduate of Harlem High School.

Army Pvt. Nielson W. Brown has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Brown is the son of Bradley and Magon Brown, of Grovetown, and a 2009 graduate of Harlem High School.

Army Reserve Pfc. Tiffany D. Lykins has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. She is the daughter of Jewel Lykins, of Martinez, and the granddaughter of Edward Kaczmarczyk, of Augusta.

Army Pfc. Heidi A. Huey has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. She is the daughter of Jerry Huey of Cobb, Ga., and Doris Huey, of Grovetown.

Army National Guard Pvt. Jackson P. Houck has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Susan Houck, of Augusta, and a 2006 graduate of Lakeside High School.

Army Pvt. Kaisetta M. Chatfield has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. She is the daughter of Tonya Chatfield, of Macon, Ga., and Thomas Burley, of Grovetown.
