Softball tryout

The Evans Dominators 18-and-under travel team will hold a tryout Sunday at Patriots Park from 2-4 p.m. For information, call Tony McNair at (706) 840-0749 or Jim Heard at (706) 533-2882.

The Georgia Rockers Fast Pitch Softball will hold tryouts for its 10-and-under travel team for the 2010 season. The tryout will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Patriots Park softball complex. Participants must be age 10 or younger on Jan. 1, 2010, to be eligible.

Travel baseball

The 13-and-under Georgia Force are looking for two or three players for fall and spring seasons. Call Steve Anderson at (706) 202-5652 or e-mail sanderson@bonedryroofing.com.

Coastal Conservation banquet

Walk4Hearing Saturday

The Hearing Loss Association's Walk4Hearing will begin with 9 a.m. registration Saturday at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. For information, go to www.walk4hearing.org.

Pink Ribbon ride

The fourth annual Pink Ribbon Ridge to benefit the University Health Care System Breast Health Center will begin at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Augusta Harley-Davidson, 4200 Frontage Road.

Bowl-a-thon

The Augusta Alzheimer's Association will hold a Bowl-a-thon fundraiser at 9 a.m. Oct. 17. Teams must be pre-registered to participate. For more information, call (706) 731-9060.

Fall festival

Mistletoe State Park in Winfield will hold its annual Family Fall Festival from 5-9 p.m. Oct. 24. Cost is $10 per vehicle, including parking fees. For more information, call (706) 541-0321.
