Gardening at Lunch

Pumpkins

Wesley United Methodist Church's "Pumpkins with a Purpose" pumpkin patch is open 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Oct. 31 at the church, 825 N. Belair Road. Proceeds benefit missions. For information, call (706) 869-0888.

Elder care

Brookwood Elementary School will hold its fall festival from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the school, 455 S. Old Belair Road, Grovetown.

Art of Chocolate

Friends members

Friends of Columbia County Libraries is holding a membership drive during October, with a drop-in reception from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at the library in Evans. The next regular Friends meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 20. For information, call (706) 863-8760.

PTO yard sale

The Evans Elementary School PTO will hold a fund-raising yard sale at the school, 628 Gibbs Road, Evans, from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, rain or shine. Donations for the sale may be dropped off at the school on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
