The fourth annual Pink Ribbon Ride to benefit the University Health Care System Breast Health Center will begin at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Augusta Harley-Davidson, 4200 Frontage Road.
Softball tryout
The Georgia Rockers Fast Pitch Softball will hold tryouts for its 10-and-under travel team for the 2010 season at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at Patriots Park softball complex. Participants must be age 10 or under on Jan. 1, 2010 to be eligible.
Rowing team
The Augusta Junior Rowing Team is accepting members. No experience is necessary. Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4-6:30 p.m. at The Boathouse on Riverfront Drive in Augusta. The team is open to ages 13-18. For more information, visit www. augustarowingclub.org.
Home school ball
The CSRA Crusaders home school baseball program will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday for anyone interested in participating. The meeting will be held at Best 9 Sports Academy. Golf tournament
The Greenbrier High School boys and girls golf teams will play host to a golf tournament at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Each team will include a Greenbrier golfer, who plays for free. Cost is $300 per foursome or $100 per person and includes greens fee, cart, lunch and prizes.
