Rowing team

The Augusta Junior Rowing Team is accepting members. No experience is necessary, and potential members can participate for two weeks before deciding whether to join. Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at The Boathouse on Riverfront Drive in Augusta. The team is open to ages 13-18. Home school baseball

The CSRA Crusaders home school baseball program will hold a meeting Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. for anyone interested in participating. The meeting will be held at Best 9 Sports Academy. Golf tournaments

The Greenbrier High School boys and girls golf teams will play host to a golf tournament Nov. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Each team will include a Greenbrier golfer, who plays free. The Gymnastics Gold Booster Club is playing host to its inaugural golf tournament Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gordon Lakes Golf Course.
