The Columbia County Foundation for Children Resource Center, 6347 Columbia Road, Appling, will hold at $3 bag sale on summer clothing through Friday. Fair pageant
Oct. 20 is the entry deadline for contestants in the Miss Columbia County Fair Scholarship Pageant, for women ages 17-24, to be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Greenbrier High School Auditorium. Bowl-a-thon

Musical auditions
The Young Artists Repertory Company's Actors Studio will hold auditions for its Christmas musical, Madeline's Christmas, at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at DaySpring Church, 4220 Frontage Road, for children ages 8 and older.
