Essay winner
Milika Dhru, of Evans, a fifth-grader at Stevens Creek Elementary School, submitted an essay to a Creative Communication contest that was selected as one of the top 10 in her grade division (grades 3-6). Milika received special recognition in the essay anthology Celebrating What Is Important to Me. As a top-10 winner, she received a copy of the anthology and a $50 savings bond. Milika is the daughter of Keja and Sash Dhru.
