Kimberly R. Adkins has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. The Augusta State University student is the daughter of Daniel R. and Von R. Adkins of Harlem and a 2007 graduate of Thomson High School.

Navy Seaman Denise A. Gibbons , daughter of Nathaniel J. and stepdaughter of Tonia M. Garnett of Grovetown, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2009 graduate of Harlem High School.

Army Pvt. Corri L. Dean has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia. She is the daughter of Cheryl Dean-Anderson of Evans and is a 2005 graduate of Evans High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Shalagh B. Hunter , daughter of Donald M. Hunter of Martinez, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2008 graduate of Jenkins County High School.

Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice William R. Eisele , a 2006 graduate of Greenbrier High School, recently graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J.

Air Force Airman Christopher H. Lybrand graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Sandra Holley of Martinez and Donald Lybrand of Aiken.

Air Force 2nd Lt. Nathaniel D. Beene has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He earned a bachelor of science degree and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. Beene, a 2005 graduate of Greenbrier High School, is the son of Ralph and Connie Beene of Evans, and the brother of Katie Beene of Evans.

Army Pfc. Jessica R. Braddy has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia. She is the daughter of Micki Braddy of Evans and is a 2007 graduate of Evans High School.

Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice William R. Eisele , a 2006 graduate of Greenbrier High School, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J.

Re-enlistment

Air Force Senior Airman Jeremy B. Boquist has re-enlisted in the Air Force after three years of military service. The food services journeyman is assigned to the 436th Airlift Wing, Dover Air Force Base, Del. He is the son of Penny and James Boquist of Martinez and is a 2005 graduate of Evans High School.
