Potluck supper
American Legion Auxiliary 192, off Owens Road in Evans, will hold a potluck supper for $5 per plate at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Church luncheon
First Baptist Church of Evans, on Belair at Washington Road, will resume its monthly Time Out luncheon series at 11:50 a.m. Thursday with Dr. Kenneth Word, interim pastor of Hill Baptist Church. Gospel concert

Food drive
The Columbia County Farm Bureau is collecting staple food items and monetary donations until Nov. 1 during the statewide Harvest for All Campaign. Food collected during the drive will be distributed to food banks throughout Georgia. Donations may be brought to the Farm Bureau office at 330 Milledgeville Road, Harlem, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. For information, call (706) 556-6258.
Young GOP
Ben Fry, campaign manager for Eric Johnson and former executive director of the Georgia Republican Party, will be the speaker at the Sept. 8 meeting of the Columbia County Young Republicans at 6:30 p.m. at El Valle restaurant in West Town Shopping Center.
