No 'comfort' in administration that 'lies,' runs up national debt

Candidate Barack Obama promised and pontificated fiscal responsibility, while House Speaker Nancy Pelosi touted "pay as you go."

The first is an established and undisputed outright lie, while the latter... well, that's a lie, too. Thanks to Congress and Obama, the United States' budget deficit is $1 trillion for the first time in our 233-year history.

Just imagine what that figure will be in six months when the welfare rolls really rise due to unemployment, a figure "misread" by this administration.

Recently we learned that Congress has approved $200 million for the purchase of three private jets to be used by congressional and military hierarchy, i.e., the ones with the biggest salaries/stipends and special spending accounts. And what better time to reveal this than in the midst of the federal blitzkrieg on the health care industry.

By the way, if it's such a great and awesome deal, why are Obama and Congress exempt? Anyone have the audacity to defend the sacred cows now? Congress is incapable of exercising either foresight or common sense, while Obama is still in training pants with nothing more than Joe Biden and an inept cabinet to keep him dry.

How comforting this is. We need to bring to a screeching halt the concept of these members of the executive and legislative branches thinking they are above the laws they dish out haphazardly without either perusing or debating said laws.

If you recall, George Bush was blamed for the cost of a gallon of gasoline. Well, the price has risen approximately 50 percent since Obama was inaugurated. So what say you now?

When an American soldier was murdered by an Islamic terrorist on American soil, the commander-in-chief did nothing. When a police officer did his job, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright disciple Obama said that the whole department "acted stupidly" and admitted that he did not know what happened. He refused to negotiate the release of Al Gore's employees from a North Korean prison. What is this administration good for?
