Softball tryouts

Volleyball tryouts
Greenbrier High School will hold volleyball tryouts at its gym Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until noon, and Tuesday through Wednesday, from 2:45-5 p.m. Participants must attend all three dates, bring a copy of their physical and show proof of insurance. For information, call (706) 650-6040, ext. 4152.
Charity game
The 15th-annual Jawbones vs. Sawbones charity basketball game will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Augusta Christian Schools gymnasium. The game is sponsored by the Richmond County Medical Society and the Augusta Bar Association, and proceeds will benefit rape crisis and sexual assault services. Conditioning camp
Summer conditioning workouts will be held at Blanchard Park, located off Belair Road, through August. The workouts are open to ages 10 and older and are free.
