Rotary exchange

Applicants are being sought for the Rotary Club District 6920 exchange trip to India for four weeks starting after Christmas. Team members must be between the ages of 25-40, not be a Rotarian or family member of a Rotarian, not be a spouse of another team member and be a resident of the district including the Augusta area. Alzheimer's group

An Alzheimer's caregiver support group meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday each month at Brandon Wilde. For information, call (706) 854-3519.

Friendship club

The German Friendship Club will hold a general membership meeting at 7 p.m. July 22 at VFW Post 649, 2430 Windsor Spring Road, Augusta. Newcomers are welcome. For information, call (803) 279-8493.

Lake ministry

St. John United Methodist Church's summer lake ministry is held each Sunday at 8:45 a.m. through Aug. 30 at the church's Clarks Hill Lake site near Modoc, S.C., with non-denominational services led by area ministers and lay leaders. Visitors may drive to the church's camp off U.S. 28 (Furys Ferry Road) or come to the site by boat.
