Golf tournament

Putt-Putt tournament

The Elijah Clark Putt-Putt Tournament will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday at Elijah Clark State Park. Cost is $5 park pass per vehicle. The tournament will precede the "Thunder Over Thurmond" fireworks show. For information, call (770) 359-3458 or visit www.gastateparks.org.

Softball qualifier

USSSA Southeast Military Softball program will play host to the Military States World Qualifier on July 18-19 at Diamond Lakes Park. The tournament will feature men's Varsity A, B, Intramural and Women's Varsity. Entry fee is $245, which includes a three-game guarantee, balls and a paid berth to Military Worlds in Panama City, Fla. Team registration is open through July 15. Grovetown High football combine

The Southeastern Coaches Combine will be held July 27 at Grovetown High School. Players in grades eight through 12 zoned for Grovetown High School are welcome to attend.
